Following the wedding (8th September), Huri, Matt and their families will be travelling to Cesme, Izmir to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Cesme features one of the best beaches in all of Turkey and is the perfect place to chill out. They will taking the 5 and a bit hours drive from Montania to Ilica Hotel Spa and Thermal Resort before spending 4 days by the sea.
For those wishing to join them there is a direct bus from the Autobus terminal in Bursa (30 minutes from Mudanya) which can be booked though Metro or Ulusoy at a cost of 60TL. Alternatively, there is a AnadoluJet flight between Bursa and Izmir for those who feel they haven’t flown enough up until that point.
There are a range of other hotels which can be found and booked online on websites such as Expedia and Booking.com, at varying cost and quality. The towns of Alacati and Cesme have many bed and breakfasts and are highly recommended due to the stunning beaches, historical sites and wineries.
Huri and Matt will be driving back to Orhangazi/Bursa/Istanbul on the 12th September to spend a little more time in Huri’s hometown, completing their stay in the beautiful country of Turkey.
